By Chief and Council Resolution, the primary mandates of Kayas Cultural College are: Provide for the Adult and Post-Secondary Education and Training needs at the Little Red River Cree Nation. Address the Cree language and culture concerns of the Nation.

Kayas Cultural College has its main office and classrooms at Fox Lake and has satellite facilities in both John D'Or and Garden River, Alberta.

The college is governed by the Little Red River Board of Education, and is administered by the college's Coordinator, Bryant Johns.
