Kayas Cultural College's Adult Basic Education (ABE) program assists students in preparing for a variety of employment and further education opportunities. Students enrolled in this program have demonstrated a Grade Equivalency (GE) between GE5 and GE11.
Each ABE applicant participates in a skills assessment, generally including TABE testing and review of previous academic experience. Depending on the demonstrated Grade Equivalency, students are placed in appropriate courses. Individual students complete the program within one to four semesters.
At program completion, students may seek employment, challenge a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) examination, or enter the University & College Entrance Preparation program.
